The Kitchen Composter is great way to recycle leftovers, including meat, fish and dairy products as well as cooked foods. This process does not produce smells or attract flies. This Kitchen Compost Kit is composed of two composters, airtight lids, drainage taps, and drain cup.
All food waste can now be turned into nutrient rich compost
Suitable for those who do not want to put food waste out for collection, This unit allows virtually 100% of all food waste, including meat, fish, dairy and cooked food to be composted at home, reducing the amount of household waste for collection
The system uses a natural bran-based activator called Bokashi which is coated in friendly bacteria called Effective Micro-organisms (EM)
After a few days the contents can be safely added to a traditional compost bin. The drip tap allows liquid feed to be drained off; this can be used for plant food
Supplied with 2 kits which both includes:-18 litre Kitchen Composter with carry handle and air tight lid, inner drain tray and drainage tap, drain cup/Bokashi scoop, 600g bag of Bokashi (2 months supply) & full instructions
